THRIVING
PARENTHOOD
Preparing Couples for the Realities of Early Parenthood

A research-informed training, not therapy, for expecting couples who want to prepare for the emotional, relational and biological realities of pregnancy and postpartum — not just birth.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Most couples prepare extensively for birth. Very few prepare for what happens after.

Hormonal shifts.

Sleep deprivation.

Identity changes.

Mental load imbalance.

Physical recovery that takes far longer than society acknowledges.

Many new parents feel exhausted, misunderstood, and overloaded — not because their relationship is weak, but because no one prepared them for what comes next.

These predictable stress points don’t have to turn into resentment, distance, or burnout.

Preparation changes the trajectory.

Thriving Parenthood helps couples enter this chapter aligned instead of reactive.

WHO IT’S FOR

• First-time parents who want to prepare properly

• Expecting parents who want to avoid common relationship strain

• Second-time parents who want to approach this differently

• Couples who value prevention over repair

If your partner feels distant or reactive in the first few months, it’s not incompatibility — it’s predictable stress.

ABOUT MAYA

Maya Kladko is the founder of Thriving Parenthood, a parent preparation training focused on maternal wellbeing, partner readiness and postpartum reality.

After navigating early motherhood and studying perinatal mental health and couple dynamics, Maya became deeply committed to preparing couples for what is rarely discussed openly — the biological recovery, identity changes, mental load, and relationship strain that follow childbirth.

Her work integrates lived experience with research-based insights on perinatal mental health, maternal depletion, and couple dynamics. She is committed to honest, practical, and emotionally intelligent preparation that protects both the mother and the partnership during the transition to parenthood.

Maya works with English-speaking families in Geneva and believes that informed preparation is one of the most powerful forms of prevention.
